Bitcoin was selected as the first piece of work, as it is the main and biggest asset in all the crypto markets.
The challenge with this coin was its longevity, as it is the oldest of all current coins, therefore, we couldn’t tackle a single symphony that will cover all BTC history into one song. Our idea is to keep it in a range of 3~4 minutes song, therefore, translating the trading charts into typical musical notations.
Temporal structure is that every candle from the TradingView 1D chart equals to the value of a Quarter note in musical notation (approx 0.6 seconds per candle) and the piece is recorded at 100 bpm.
Genre chosen is Symphonic poem as the definition perfectly matches our work:
A symphonic poem or tone poem is a piece of orchestral music, usually in a single continuous movement, which illustrates or evokes the content of a poem, short story, novel, painting, landscape, or other (non-musical) source.
